MorrisCode as unique and small as a fingerprint?
The MorrisCode has been designed to operate on surfaces and electronic devices as small as your finger tip. This is a major advantage to the reading of phones, that constantly change screen size making traditional barcode reading nearly useless. The MorrisCode on its own is very simple but extremely powerful image verification. Peachinc leverage's that power with a complete backend system to authenticate any MorrisCode using a mobile phone camera or our special readers, from virtually any location in the world. In addition to any mobile phone camera, the scanner range includes a handheld reader, portable standalone self serve reader and a full interactive kiosk with integrated printer and optional chip and pin card reader. Any standard web cam lens can read our MorrisCodes but all of our bespoke devices use high end industrial cameras.
Peachinc Advantage
Peachinc originally looked at using traditional image based technology, but decided that it just wasn’t good enough, and here’s why:-
1. Barcodes were designed to be read from paper, not mobile phone screens. If your phone’s brightness settings are set too low, if you have a scratched screen, a screen cover or a phone with a high resolution screen, chances are it will be very difficult or even impossible to read a barcode from your phone. MorrisCode does not have these limitations.
2. Barcodes that can be sent to mobile phones using SMS can only store 10 million combinations. This does not provide a suitable level of security for many applications. MorrisCode provides 2 quadrillion unique combinations, enabling many new market opportunities that have critical security issues.
3. Barcode scanners need to be operated by trained operators. Not so with the MorrisCode scanners.
4. MorrisCode uniquely can be printed so small as to barely visible by the naked eye but can still be detected by our scanners
5. The Peachinc backend has been designed to provide a high level of security.
We have been developing patent pending technology to take validation to a new level. Peachinc do not use traditional barcodes that were designed to be read from paper, we use a new type of code – The MorrisCode. MorrisCode technology can be read from any electronic display as well as from paper. MorrisCodes can be sent to over 99% of mobile handsets on the market without any updates to the customers’ mobile phone. It can be displayed on a computer screen or TV just as easily and if your phone can receive SMS messages then your phone can receive a MorrisCode
MorrisCode
A MorrisCode can store over 2 quadrillion combinations, that’s enough to send every single person on the planet 400,000 unique codes and Peachinc are the only company that can read MorrisCodes this means that your validation processes are extremely secure. Even more exciting, the MorrisCode scanner can be used directly by your customers. All your customers need to do is place their phones into a Peachinc kiosk or in front of our handheld readers and the code will be read.
The MorrisCode scanner can cope with scratched screens distorted packets or paper, low brightness settings, screen covers and high resolution screens. If your eye can see it then the MorrisCode scanner will read it. We also read paper too – even if you crumple them up and scribble all over them.
PeachInc kiosks can print prescriptions, tickets and vouchers, open a turnstile or perform any other task that you desire.
PeachInc kiosks feature Ethernet, WIFI and a 3G backup connection.
PeachInc services and kiosks can be monitored 24 by 7. PeachInc Kiosks are fully customizable; you can request one in any colour you desire. The interface design and paper can also be tailored to your needs. The kiosks can be fitted with chip & pin readers, allowing them to serve as sales points or to be used as extra validation for authenticating users or certain processes.
Value add services include a large display, which gives you the ability to provide video on demand, interactive information for users, digital sign-age, and location maps with plenty more to come. The large display can be used for questionnaires and provide voice prompts to aid assistance. All kiosks run on XP embedded allowing 24x7 operation 365 days of the year.
